Where do I establish my website? |
One question a lot of small business owners have is ... should they have a website? Unfortunately, there is no one answer, just as there is no one solution.
We offer a number of solutions based on what the client really needs. If your business simply needs a 'business card' website to point to your location (great for including in CitySearch and other directories, we can put one up for very little annual expense.
Need an eCommerce - (an online store to sell your products or services) - well, we can handle that too. In some cases we'll host on our servers, while in some cases we'll suggest alternative hosting solutions.
Two good solutions we have sent clients to - are Yahoo Stores and 1and1.com hosting. Both are excellent but one may be better suited for your particular business. Take a look before you decide.

And please, don't be fooled. Either YOU take the time to investigate or talk to someone who knows all the options before you make your decision. We are constantly evaluating services so we can recommend the best for your needs.
Do you need a 'secure certificate'? Do you want 'shared IP' or 'limited bandwidth'? We can answer your questions, or ...these are places you can do the research yourself. And don't worry that you didn't understand those two questions. Few people do but it will be to your benefit to findout before you commit your business's website.
Just thought you should know. |

We are constantly asked where to get pictures and graphics for websites and out answers are always the same. Don't steal from other sites. There's lots of places to buy royalty free photos to use on your own website or in your printed brochures.
One of our favorites is www.Dreamstime.com where you can buy pictures for as low as $.38 each for websites.
There are many other sources, some range from $1 to thousands of dollars for a picture so your best shot is to look around to see what's best for you. |

Here's where we get in deep water. Why of course, everyone should have a web site. Right? WRONG!
Maybe you should but if you do, you really need to know what to expect from it. You also need to measure the results. Few companies do and it costs them dearily. |

Trade shows: a waste of money? |
Building a great exhibit booth is only the beginning. Too bad so many companies don’t understand that it takes more than a pretty display. Our experience includes spending a lot of time on both sides (exhibitor and show management) of the floor. |

Should your company have a BLOG? |
Probably not! Most companies don’t benefit from the time and expense of a BLOG. But if your company would benefit … this is an excellent tool and can contribute to an over all marketing and advertising campaign. |

“Do you see video in your future? I do,” wrote Ellis Booker, editor of BtoB and Media Business for Crain Media October 9, 2006.
Interesting because this continues to validate what I told a group of Webmasters back in 2001. The panel was addressing the topic of web video. |
